Monstrous Music Files.

Here is a couple of my favorite S3M (Scream Tracker 3) music files, along with a recommended player. The sources of the S3M player and files are listed below. Reader's Notice - you will need an UnZip program to run both the S3M player and files. [WinZIP] will be needed to unzip these files (except for the MIDIs).

When I first heard Ice Frontier in a computer store, as a demo for their sound cards and speakers, I was moved! This S3M file won the Assembly '93 Multichannel Competition, and I hope you enjoy it.

The following S3M files were originally written by Dr. Death and re-written by Dr. Death and Ablater for the Sonic Discussion group. Mobian Destiny.zip gives a musical description of life on Mobius before and during Robotnik's invasion. After the War.zip gives a musical description of what life will be like on Mobius after Robotnik's invasion.

The following MIDI files are used on my web page, which originally came from Sega's Sonic and Knuckles Collection CD for the PC and were found on Sonic HQ.

Angel Island 1.MIDI

Hydro City 1.MIDI

Lava Reef 1.MIDI

Level Select.MIDI

Desert Palace.MIDI

Chrome Gadget.MIDI

Boss.MIDI was rendered by John Weeks, based on the Robotnik "boss" attacks from Sonic 2 on the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive.

Egg Viger.MIDI was rendered by John Weeks, based on the Egg Viper & Egg Walker final bosses from Sonic Adventure on the Sega Dreamcast.

[Win2K] is a spoof of the Windows 95 startup music. Use this to modify either your startup or your shutdown. ;-)

[WinAMP] is a Win' 95/98/NT program, capable of playing MP3 and S3M files, as well as some other formats. WinAmp is unique because you can instal "skins" to change its appearance. It is FreeWare, so go ahead and grab it.

[The Sonic Skin for WinAmp] is available for you to download right here! It features Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails on all of the WinAmp controls. It's my personal favorite skin. *Installation Instructions!!!* You must unzip this ZIP file in the winamp/skins directory on your computer for it to work properly.
